  • Girls Basketball vs Portage North Your 7th grade Lady Wildcats were victorious Thursday, February 8th versus Portage North. The B team (6-0-0) had a strong performance as they defeated North 22-12. The A Team (6-0-0) played hard against Portage North and eventually cruised to a 47-9 win.Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball teams for taking both games against Portage North.  The 8th grade B team (3-3-0) won 10-1 and the 8th grade A team (3-3-0) won 38-10.Congrats to all the teams for playing together and hustling.Up next is Maple Street tomorrow, February 13, 2018.   • Girls Basketball vs Bangor Congrats to the 7th grade girls basketball team on continuing to remain undefeated this season. The Lady Wildcats combined A/B squad defeated a scrappy bunch from Bangor by a score of 17-14. Congrats girls on a hard fought win!!Up next is Portage North on Thursday, February 8, 2018. The 7th graders host at Linden Grove while the 8th graders travel to Portage North. Tip-Off for the B team games is at 3:45 PM followed by the A teams at approximately 4:45-5 PM.

  • Girls Basketball vs Portage Central The 7th grade girls basketball team continued their winning ways yesterday (Tuesday, February 6, 2018) vs. Portage Central as both teams remained undefeated. The B team (4-0-0) had a 24-14 win over a scrappy Portage Central squad while the A team (5-0-0) cruised to an easy win with a dominating 38-6 victory.The 8th grade girls basketball teams lost their games against Portage Central Central yesterday. The B team (2-3-0) faced a tough opponent and lost the game 16-26. The A team (2-3-0) also faced a tough Colts squad ending with a 18-30 loss.Up next is Portage North tomorrow. All students participating in sports at Linden Grove during 2017-2018 academic school year must have a current physical (dated after April 15, 2017) on file at the school and have paid for sports participation insurance ($15) through Linden Grove. For general information about sports at Linden Grove, contact Vestina Hawkins, Athletic Director, (269) 337-1740 ext. 1450. There is a $3 admission fee ($1 for students) for all sporting events except Cross Country. Concessions are available.
