Track Update and Award Party
Sadly we are almost to the end of the track season. Our last meet for 6th graders will be on Monday, May 16th. The last day for 7th and 8th graders will be the league meet on Thursday, May 19th. Our expectations are that your child is at practice daily. If they can not attend, please send in a note for the coach. If there are discipline problems, we will follow the procedures listed below: - 1st Strike will be a phone call home and your child will sit out of practice and watch.
- 2nd Strike will be a phone call home explaining that the next behavior issue with your child will result with dismissal from the team. Your child will spend the remainder of that practice watching.
- 3rd Strike is dismissal from the team. Parent will be contacted.
Remaining Meets- Thursday, May 12th @ K-Central for 7th and 8th graders (no practice for 6th graders)
- Monday, May 16th @ K-Central - KPS Meet for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
- Thursday, May 19th @ K-Central - League Meet for 7th and 8th graders (10 teams)
Track Award PartyWe will have our track award party on Monday, May 23rd. The athletic department will supply the burgers, hot dogs and drinks. We ask that families bring a dish to pass.
